Two Wordpress sites down, one to go. I don’t have anything against Wordpress, only that it’s overkill for what I do with websites. And static webpages load instantaneously.
I’m using Hugo (https://gohugo.io/) for both my personal and teaching sites with only the yearbook website left to convert. That one might never happen, just because there’s a bit more going on and the effort isn’t worth it yet. Plus, I can set up Wordpress so yearbook staff can make changes, so another reason to stay the course.
And this personal site is now on it’s third platform. I have a vague recollection of using the first one, but I tossed it for some reason. Shame I can’t remember the name. Never mind, it was Known (https://withknown.com/). Still can’t remember why I ditched it.
